Best Cabo Bachelor Party Itinerary (3 Days)

Three days is the sweet spot for a Cabo bachelor party. It's long enough to fit in a boat day, a big night out and some time by the pool, and short enough that everyone can get the time off work. This itinerary is the one we'd hand a group of friends landing at Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) on a Thursday or Friday. Move the pieces around as you like, but keep the overall shape: arrive easy, peak on day two, and recover on day three.
The plan is built around a private villa, not a hotel. With your own house you have a home base where the whole crew can regroup, eat well and keep going without fighting over a pool chair or a noise complaint. Both of our featured houses, Villa Lands End in Pedregal and VIP Marina Mansion near the marina, sleep eight bedrooms' worth of guys and come with a chef, bartender and concierge.
Before you land
- Send the concierge your arrival times so transportation from SJD is sorted. The drive to Cabo San Lucas takes roughly 40 to 50 minutes.
- Share dietary needs and drink preferences ahead of time so the chef and bartender can stock the villa.
- Decide early whether you want the party yacht. It's the one piece that books up on busy weekends.
- Pack light: swim trunks, sunglasses, sunscreen, one going-out shirt per night, and comfortable sandals.
Day 1: Arrive, settle in, ease into it
Get the group to the villa by mid-afternoon if you can. The first move is always the same: drop the bags, grab a drink from the bar and get in the pool. At Villa Lands End the pool sits on the cliff edge with the Pacific in front of you. It's the photo everyone will post that night.
Have the chef do a welcome dinner at the house. A relaxed first night is a better call than racing downtown. Half the crew will have been up since before dawn to catch flights, and you'll want them fresh for day two. Tacos, ceviche and grilled fish on the terrace are hard to beat.
If the group still has energy after dinner, downtown Cabo San Lucas is a short ride away. Walk the marina boardwalk and get a feel for the bars. Keep the first night light, because the real night out comes tomorrow.
Day 2: Yacht day and the big night
This is the day the trip gets remembered for.
Morning
Start slow. Have the chef put out a big breakfast at the villa: chilaquiles, eggs, fruit and plenty of coffee. Hydrate. Seriously.
Afternoon: the party yacht
Board the 90ft party yacht at the Cabo San Lucas marina. A live DJ with pro equipment, a premium open bar, a full-course meal and water toys are all included, for up to 30 guests with taxes included. Packages run 3 hours for $5,300, 4 hours for $6,500 or 5.5 hours for $7,500 USD. Four hours is the most popular for bachelor groups. You have time to cruise past El Arco (the Arch at Land's End) and Lover's Beach, anchor up for a swim, and still be back for sunset. You can see the boat and photos at CaboPartyYacht.com.
The yacht is also the easiest way to bring in friends who aren't staying at the villa. With room for 30, nobody gets left out.
Night: downtown Cabo
Head back to the villa to shower and change, then go downtown. The classic Cabo nightlife strip sits around the marina and Boulevard Marina, and it includes long-running spots like Cabo Wabo Cantina and El Squid Roe. Let the concierge handle dinner reservations before you hit the bars. A proper steak or seafood dinner downtown sets up the night and helps everyone last longer.
Agree on a meeting point and keep a group chat going. Cabo's nightlife district is compact, but groups still scatter.
Day 3: Beach, recovery and a send-off
Sleep in. When people surface, have the chef run a late brunch at the villa while the group recounts the night before.
In the afternoon, choose your speed:
- Médano Beach: Cabo's main swimmable beach. It's full of beach clubs and bars with music, a solid day party option within easy reach of either villa.
- Golf: Cabo is one of the best golf destinations in Mexico. Ask the concierge to book a tee time at one of the area's well-known courses for the golfers in the group.
- Pool day at the villa: honestly the most popular choice on day three. Put on music, have the bartender keep things flowing, and do nothing.
For the last night, do a sunset dinner at the villa. The chef cooks, the bartender makes one last round, and you toast the groom with the ocean in front of you. It's a better send-off than another crowded bar.
Picking the right villa for this itinerary
Both villas fit this plan; it comes down to your group.
- Villa Lands End: 8 bedrooms and up to 22 guests in gated Pedregal. You get the cliffside pool and jacuzzi, a gym, and the most dramatic views in Cabo. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk to Pedregal Beach and a short drive to Médano Beach. See the full listing: Villa Lands End on Cabo Connections.
- VIP Marina Mansion: 8 bedrooms and up to 26 guests within walking distance of the marina and downtown. Two pools, a hot tub, a 3rd-floor ocean-view bar with a 75" TV, a sauna and an elevator. If your crew wants to walk to dinner and the bars, this is the one. Full listing: VIP Marina Mansion on Cabo Connections.
Tips from planning a lot of these
- Book the villa and the yacht together through one inquiry. The dates line up and there's one point of contact.
- Plan the yacht for day two, not your arrival day. Flights get delayed.
- Let the staff help. Having a chef and bartender on site is the whole point. Nobody in the group has to plan meals or play bartender.
- Build in downtime. The best bachelor parties don't run on a minute-by-minute schedule.
Ready to lock it in?
Send us your dates, headcount and whether you want the yacht through the inquiry form. We'll come back with availability for Villa Lands End and VIP Marina Mansion and put together the whole weekend. This is the easiest way to plan the best Cabo bachelor party house weekend your crew has had.
